Accessibility statement for volacapital.com.

Accessibility

VOLA CAPITAL aims to make its public website usable by people with a wide range of access needs and technologies. The site is designed around semantic structure, keyboard access, readable contrast and responsive layouts.

Commitment

The target is practical access aligned with WCAG 2.2 AA.

The site is built with semantic headings, landmarks, labelled form fields, visible focus states, keyboard-operable navigation, responsive text and controls, and contrast designed for normal reading conditions.

Accessibility is treated as an ongoing operational requirement. New pages, forms and interactive components are expected to pass automated checks and keyboard review before release.

Implemented features

Current accessibility measures.

Keyboard navigation

Primary navigation, mega-menu, mobile drawer, cookie controls, links and form fields can be operated without a pointer.

Focus management

Interactive overlays return focus, trap it where appropriate and support Escape to close.

Semantic structure

Pages use landmarks, ordered heading levels, lists, labels and descriptive link text.

Readable contrast

Text, controls, borders and focus indicators use the approved VOLA design tokens.

Responsive layout

Pages reflow from desktop to mobile without requiring horizontal page scrolling at supported widths.

Reduced motion

Decorative transitions are disabled or reduced when the browser indicates a reduced-motion preference.

Testing

Automated checks support, but do not replace, human review.

  1. 01

    HTML and landmark review

Generated pages are checked for required structure, labels, titles and canonical routes.

  2. 02

    Automated accessibility scan

Critical routes are tested with an axe-based browser check during the release process.

  3. 03

    Keyboard smoke

Navigation, drawer, cookie preferences and contact form are reviewed using keyboard interaction.

  4. 04

    Responsive review

Desktop, tablet and phone viewports are checked for reading order, control size and content loss.

  5. 05

    Content review

Links, alternative text, disclosures and page completeness are reviewed when content changes.

Known limitations

Some third-party destinations and source files are outside VOLA’s control.

Portfolio source links, Companies House, professional organisations and other external websites maintain their own accessibility standards. Some third-party documents may not have been created by VOLA and may not meet the same level of accessibility.

Where a VOLA-owned document or page creates a meaningful barrier, contact the company and describe the content, device, browser and assistance required. A reasonable alternative format or route will be considered where practicable.

Feedback route

Continuous improvement

Conformance is reviewed as content and functionality change. A statement of intent does not mean that every external file or third-party destination is controlled by VOLA CAPITAL.
